It’s simple.
The vehicle pulls up to the AFS Fuel Management System pedestal at the fuel island and the employee scans a radio frequency (RF) tag that is affixed to the vehicle.
The RF scanner identifies the vehicle, billing account, fuel type, other specific information, and activates the proper pump.
The employee enters any required information using the AFS Fuel Management System keypad, such as odometer reading, engine hour meter, employee ID number, etc.
The employee scans their employee ID card, if required.
The employee proceeds with vehicle fueling.
Upon termination of fueling, the AFS Fuel Management System immediately uploads all of the information to the website where it can be viewed it in real time.
